If you know me at all, you know that this is THE big one for me. June 25-July 7 : National Rainbow Gathering (Georgia) Obviously, I haven't attended yet, but the pathwork and overall focus feels so perfectly aligned with my healing journey. This year, I'll be running the community kitchen for the event, which we'll be operating much like a Rainbow kitchen :-) If the name sounds interesting (or especially if it sounds weird), please check out the website for the descriptions of what kind of inner work is being focused on. Last year, I was going to volunteer in the kitchen, but was SUPER burnt out when it came around (having just done back-to-back week-long events, and with Rainbow immediately after), so it fell through. One of my best friends attended this event in 2015, and it's been on my short-list ever since. June 20-24 : Eco-Sex Celebrating Lover Earth (Orcas Island, WA)

I submitted to be a volunteer a couple months back and haven't heard anything yet though, so no expectations. Seems like one of the few that is working to bring the realms of festival & conference a little closer together (something I'm passionate about). This one's still a bit of a maybe my good friend introduced me to it, and I'm excited to check it out. I'm flying from San Diego to Phoenix as soon as Libertopia wraps up, to cook for about a week at Freedom Farm for a bunch of wonderful volutaryist folk who will be having a little get together. The biggest voice being who asked me if I'd like to come speak at it, so I am :-) I'll be giving a presentation on "The Rainbow Gathering: 5 Decades of Beta-Testing Anarchist Society" (it is literally the most important event for anarchists to experience IMO), as well as doing a Steemit panel with Cat, and May 7-12 : Cooking for a private campout This is one that I hadn't heard of until Anarchapulco this year, where I heard about it from a bunch of people. Practicing communication, openness, connecting, and being present, learning to let go of self-judgment & move beyond any old programming, this is one of the most powerful tools I've found on my journey.

This will be my second immersion weekend in this oh-so-wonderful practice (you can read about my first one here).

Image Source My schedule April 20-22 : Solsara 3-day immersion (Eugene, OR) However, if you find an event where something you are passionate about is the focal point, you can be sure to meet many, many aligned souls. it can be a bit trickier to find your tribe. If you're in a city, a vortex designed to siphon people's energy to a select few and keep everyone disconnected & ungrounded. There are absolutely TONS of us, it's just a matter of the container you're spending your time in. I hope to see some of you at one of these events, maybe for the first time! SO many people seem to have this idea that there aren't many conscious, freedom-loving people around, but I can say for a fact that it's incorrect. The following is my schedule for the 2018 season, with the reasons that I pick the events that I do, followed by the current version of my big list of world-changing events (click the link for the spreadsheet version that I keep updated). Over the last couple of years, I've gone up and down on the number of events each year, and at this point I am sticking more to a few that I know I really align with, and just trying out a couple new ones each year. If you've been following my blog, you probably know that I spend much of my year cooking, connecting, creating, and community-building at these world-changing events.

Spring is well upon us, and with the warming & lengthening days (in the northern hemisphere), festival/gathering season is about to be in full swing.
